  • Effectively assess a patient’s concussion situation within the initial hours post-injury.
  • Optimally manage concussion care during the first 4 weeks post-injury in order to decrease long-term effects; this includes the management of symptoms, and best practices for the return to school, work, sport or recreational activities.
  • Identify when referral to specialty care is required.
