What to know if your organization has mandated CATT training

If your organization has mandated CATT training, don't forget to complete your required course and notify your organization.

Once you have claimed your certificate, you have completed the course. The progress bar will not read 100%, as there are appendices and resources at the end for your information. Do not complete the final section, “How to Renew Your Certificate," unless you need to redo the course to update your training.

Once you have taken the course, you can go return to the course to review the content and resources any time, and access your certificate from your CATT account. You can also browse the latest concussion information on the CATT website, and download or print a resource.

To retake a CATT course and earn an updated certificate:

Sign in to cattonline.com
Click on the course you would like to retake
Using the navigation bar on the left, scroll down to the "CATT Certificate" page
Continue clicking the "next" button until you reach the last section, "How to Renew Your Certificate"
Follow the instructions to remove your previous certificate and reset the course

The Concussion Awareness Training Tool (CATT) is a series of online educational modules and resources addressing concussion recognition, diagnosis, treatment, and management. Good concussion management is pivotal to minimizing the risk of brain damage and may reduce long-term health consequences.

CATT is a product of the BC Injury Research and Prevention Unit, located on the unceded land of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.
