BC Concussion Awareness Week is September 21 to 27

It is estimated that at least 1 in every 167 Canadian adults suffer a concussion each year. This is considered to be an underestimate, as many people do not seek medical care for concussion.

September 21 to 27, 2025 is
BC Concussion Awareness Week. The goal of this annual campaign is to improve British Columbians’ knowledge of concussions—how to prevent, recognize, respond to, and manage them appropriately.

We have created a campaign toolkit with concussion statistics, images, and social media posts to help you spread awareness of proper concussion recognition, diagnosis, and management.

Browse the CATT website to take eLearning courses, access downloadable resources, and learn about the latest in concussion education.
