The Concussion in Sport Group (CISG) has released an article summarizing the 11 R’s of sports-related concussion, as outlined in the 2017 Consensus Statement on Concussion in Sport.

The 11 R’s of concussion:

  • Recognize
  • Remove
  • Re-evaluate
  • Rest
  • Rehabilitation
  • Refer
  • Recover
  • Return to sport
  • Reconsider
  • Residual effects and sequelae
  • Risk reduction
