Due to high demand and current gaps in addressing non-sport related concussion among adults (19 to 64 years old), we are in the process of developing a new concussion toolkit for workers and workplaces.

CATT for Workers and Workplaces will launch in spring 2019. It will include an e-learning module and relevant resources that will provide easy access to current best practices for concussion recognition, treatment, and management tailored for workers and their families, and workplaces including employers, members of safety associations, unions, and joint occupational health and safety committees.

The BCIRPU is currently completing a comprehensive review of current concussion evidence and relevant and available materials in order to identify best practices and gaps. We will be interviewing key experts in concussion awareness, prevention, and treatment in the workplace as well as employees who have sustained a concussion and recovered to return to work (in all industries). Their experiences, combined with the evidence review, will help us create new resources for CATT for Workers and Workplaces.
